3 Simple methods to Learn Copywriting in Fewer Than One Month

There are a lot of ways to teach yourself copywriting, but as with everything else – some ways are always better than others.

I am going to talk a bit today about teaching yourself copywriting and while my methods might not be the easiest...they are the most efficient.

The Top three Methods to Teach Your self Copywriting In Thirty Days Or Less

#1. Write Your Copy Out By Hand - This is a method that is taught by many copywriters and I agree with it, but I have a "twist" of my own that I want to add. Writing out copy by hand can take hours, so I read each sentence out loud, one by one, and spend some time thinking about them. I spend time thinking about why I wrote that sentence in the first place. I think about the use of emotion, puncutation, and urgency among other things and why I crafted the sentence in the way that I did.

#2. Write Everyday – If you want to teach yourself copywriting, you have to write! Too many people try to teach themselves copywriting by keeping their nose stuck in a book when they should be writing instead. Here is a suggestion that you might consider. When you find a new copywriting tip for those just starting out (you shouldn't be doing advanced things yet anyway), stop right where you are and write something that uses the tip that you have found. You need not be writing for a client or on a job. Just use the things you learned in the tip and spend some time testing it. Doing this will help sear it into your mind and in time you will do it naturally instead of having to think about it.

#3. Read A Course 4 Times - This may sound crazy, in fact very few people do this. Instead of finding a top of the line course and digging in and studying it they grab 10 courses and rip through them without absorbing the information. There are a gread deal of really good courses out there at the moment and many of them offer a "free for the first 14 days" deal. It does not matter what you choose, but settle on one single source of information and dig into it.
